How to add a new recipient?
Last updated on January 30, 2026To transfer funds from your Omise account to your bank account, you must first create a “recipient” for that specific bank account.
Once the recipient has been created and verified by Omise, you will be able to transfer funds to that account directly from your Omise dashboard.
Steps:
Head over to the “Recipients” menu.
Click the “New recipient” button.
Select the recipient type.
Fill in the required information in the following sections:
- Recipient Information
- Bank Account
Click the “Create” button.
Once the new recipient has been created, the system will redirect you to the Recipient details page, click the
Options
menu (three dots icon) to proceed further.From the drop-down menu, click the “Activate” button to complete the process.
After creating and activating the recipient, please allow up to 2 business days for Omise to complete the verification. You can start transferring funds as soon as the status changes to “Verified”.
Important note:
For Singapore and Malaysia merchants, please provide a bank book or a cheque to confirm bank account information for the verification process.
