To use Omise, you will need an Omise account to access our dashboard and APIs. There are two types of accounts available:

• Test Account:

  This type of account is for testing purposes only. It provides a complete simulation of our live environment, allowing you to explore various features such as creating test charges, making API calls, navigating the dashboard, and exporting data.

  However, Test Accounts cannot process and accept real payments or connect to actual external banking systems.
  
  

• Live Account:

  This is a fully functional account that allows you to process and accept real payments from your customers.
  
  

Getting started:

To sign up for a Test Account, you may begin the process by following these simple steps with no documentation required:

1. Head over to the “Sign Up” page.
2. Follow the on-screen instructions and fill in the required information ( * ).
3. After your account is created, click the confirmation link sent to your email under the subject “[Omise] Confirm your email address” to complete the process.
4. Once your email address is verified, click the “Sign in” button to sign back into your Omise dashboard.
   
   

Important Note:

To start accepting real payments, you must submit a merchant application and receive approval for a Live Account. For more information on how to obtain a Live Account, please refer to the article "How do I enable the live account?”.
