How do I change my registration information?

If you need to update your registered information with Omise, the required process depends on the type of information you are changing and the country where your account is registered. For Malaysia Merchants, please review the relevant section below and submit your request to kyc@omise.co.


1. Changing Primary Email Address or Deactivating Your Account

To comply with security regulations, changing your primary email address or requesting account deactivation requires a strict identity verification process. Please submit a Letter of Change Request using one of the following methods:

Provide our KYC team with the email address of your authorized director(s), as stated in your Company Registration Document. We will email the request letter directly to them. The director(s) can digitally sign it and upload the company seal online. No physical printing is required.

Option 2: Wet Signature (Physical Signature)

If you prefer a physical signature, print the Letter of Change Request.
1. Fill in the necessary information.
2. Have the authorized director(s) sign the document and affix the company seal.
3. Scan or take a clear photo of the completed document and email it to us.

Important Notes:
Signature & Seal Consistency: The signature and seal on the request letter must exactly match the authorized director’s ID/passport and the company documents previously submitted to Omise.
New Authorized Directors: If the request is signed by a director who hasn’t submitted their ID to us before, please attach a signed copy of their ID/passport.


2. Changing Company Name (Involving a New Registration/Tax ID Number)

If your company name change involves a completely new company registration number, please submit the following documents to kyc@omise.co:

For Malaysia Merchants

  • Please submit the standard onboarding corporate documents required for your specific entity type (e.g., updated SSM profile).

3. Changing Office Address

To update your registered office address, please email the relevant proof of address to kyc@omise.co:

For Malaysia Merchants

  • If your new address is already updated in your official business documents (e.g., SSM), no extra documents are needed.
  • If it is not yet updated in the official registry, please submit a valid proof of address document, such as a formal rental agreement.

4. Changing Statement Name, Business Details, or Website URL

For changes to your bank statement descriptor, general business details, or registered website URL, simply contact our KYC team directly at kyc@omise.co for guidance.
